Ballet

If you are looking for the best in Ballet, you will find it at PKS Dance Elite Ltd. With two of Canada’s finest, most qualified instructors, you won’t be disappointed. Classical ballet is the essential part of every dancer’s repertoire. All classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) syllabi, which include the three disciplines of classical (including pointe), free movement, and character dance training. Students at a senior level may also be offered Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) examinations. These classes encourage the development of balance, grace and agility. Examinations are offered at all levels including the prestigious SOLO SEAL level.

Year End Gala: There is an additional cost for costumes, and tickets for 5-7 year old, ALL Foundations & Progressions Level classes. RAD Graded & Vocational level classes will not perform in the Year End Gala.

DRESS CODE

All ballet class students must have hair tied up and in a bun.

All Foundations Classes

Shoes – Skin tone or Pink full leather sole (Bloch, Capezio or So Danca) (Skin tone must be special ordered)
Option 1 – Tights: Capezio or Mondor – Ballet pink or skin tone or white or pink socks.
Bodysuit: Ink (Navy) or black tank
Skirt: Navy – length to bottom of fingertips.
Option 2 – Tight black or White T-shirt, black shorts or black leggings & socks and black shoes

All Progressions Level classes

Shoes – Pink or skin tone full leather sole-Bloch, Capezio, So Danca (Skin tone must be special ordered)
Option 1 –Tights-Ballet pink, skin tone -transitional or full footed
Bodysuit – Ink (Navy) or black sleeveless
Option 2 -Solid colour t-shirt (plain – no logos or sayings), black shorts or leggings, black socks, black ballet shoes

Graded/Vocational Ballet

Shoes: Pink or skin tone full leather sole, soft blocks and pointe shoes (Skin tone have to be special ordered)

Option 1 – Tights Ballet pink or skin tone -transitional or full footed to match shoes

Bodysuit: Any color and style of classical bodysuit

Option 2 – White t-shirt or black t-shirt, black shorts or black or navy tights, black ballet shoes
